For Oscar, personalized hospitality began on the water.
Oscar Iboy was born and raised on Ambergris Caye. He began his tourism career as a deckhand at Playa Blanca Beach Club, where guests arrived for week-long stays filled with diving, snorkeling and mainland adventures.
That experience taught him that the most memorable trips are never one-size-fits-all. They come from listening carefully, anticipating what guests need and adding personal touches that make people feel at home.
Today, Oscar brings that same approach to Belize Celebrity Diving. He coordinates adventures around each group, helps families with different interests enjoy the same day and finds ways to make birthdays, anniversaries and meaningful moments feel genuinely special.

Local Partnership Brings Much-Needed Repairs to New Horizon School Grounds
Repairing a flooded schoolyard. After heavy rain left the New Horizon Seventh Day Adventist Primary School grounds in poor condition, Oscar worked with private-sector supporters to donate sand and gravel to fill and level affected areas.
Supporting local students. Oscar told the publication that the developing community effort had also helped cover unpaid balances for some students, with the broader goal of assisting additional schools.
